REFUELING PANEL INDICATOR LIGHT REPLACEMENT – continued
10.72.3. Removal
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
a. Remove indicator light (1) from refueling pan-
el (2).
(1) Identify three wires (3).
(2) Desolder three wires (3). Use soldering iron
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
(3) Remove nut (4) and lockwasher (5).
(4) Remove and discard indicator light (1) from
front of panel (2).
10.72.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts and sur-
faces (para 1.47).
10.72.5. Inspection
a. Check wires for damaged connections, cuts,
and wear (para 10.1).
b. Check panel for cracks, dents, and damaged
hardware. None allowed.
