REFUELING PANEL INDICATOR LIGHT REPLACEMENT – continued
10.72.6. Installation
a. Install new light (1) on panel (2).
(1) Install indicator light (1) through hole in panel
(2).
(2) Adjust length of indicator light (1) through
panel (2). Use adjustment nut (6).
(3) Install lockwasher (5) and nut (4).
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
b. Solder three identified wires (3) to light (1).
(1) Solder three wires (3) to terminals (7) on indi-
cator light (1). Use solder (item 189, App F)
and soldering iron (TM 55-1500-323-24).
c. Perform continuity test on three wires (3). Use
multimeter (TM 55-1500-323-24).
d. Inspect (QA).
