FORWARD REFUELING HOSE REPLACEMENT – continued
e. Remove hose (5) from transfer pump fitting
(12) and shutoff valve fitting (13).
(1) Unlatch and remove retainers (14) and (15).
(2) Slide bodies (16) and (17) on hose (5).
(3) Remove and discard four packings (18).
(4) Remove hose (5).
(5) Remove bodies (16) and (17) from hose (5).
10.77.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
10.77.5. Inspection
a. Check attachment points on manifold fitting,
transfer pump fitting, and shutoff valve fitting
for cracks, nicks, gouges, and deformations
(para 10.1).
10.77.6. Installation
a. Insert forward refueling hose (5) through
opening in frame.
