APU FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
e. Install retainer (4) on valve (3) and fitting (6).
(1) Slide body (5) in place over packings (14) and
(15).
(2) Position retainer (4) around body (5).
(3) Latch retainer (4). Ensure safety spring (16)
is fully locked.
f. Install tube (7) on valve (3).
(1) Hold elbow (8). Install nut (9).
g. Attach connector P52 (1) to receptacle (L20)J1
(2) on fuel shutoff valve (3).
h. Inspect (QA).
i. Perform APU fuel system priming (para
1.27A).
j. Perform auxiliary power unit maintenance op-
erational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
k. Perform fuel system priming operation (para
1.23).
l. Install ammunition storage magazine
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
