10.124. NITROGEN INERTING UNIT (NIU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
c. Install hose (25).
(1) Install nut (29) on NIU fitting (28). Torque nut
(29) to 120 INCH-POUNDS.
(a) Hold NIU fitting (28).
(b) Install nut (29) on NIU fitting (28).
(c) Torque nut (29) to 120 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
(2) Install nut (27) on bulkhead union (26).
Torque nut (27) to 120 INCH-POUNDS.
(a) Hold bulkhead union (26).
(b) Install nut (27) on bulkhead union (26).
(c) Torque nut (27) to 120 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
d. Install hose (17).
(1) Slide clamp (24) over end of hose (17).
(2) Place end of hose (17) on right port of NIU
(3).
(3) Tighten screw of clamp (24) to secure hose
(17) to right port of NIU (3).
(4) Slide support clamp (22) over free end of
hose (17) into position at bracket (23).
(5) Install screw (20) through washer (21) and
clamp (22) into nutplate of bracket (23). Tight-
en screw (20).
