c. Remove cover (7) from chassis (1).
(1) Remove three screws (8).
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
d. Identify and desolder wires (9) and (10) from
switches (11) and (12). Use soldering iron
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
11.26.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.26.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for
cracks. None allowed.
b. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
c. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
