11.34.6. Installation
WARNING
Soldering iron can cause severe
burns to personnel and start fires.
Observe all safety precautions when
using soldering iron. If injury occurs,
seek medical aid.
a. Solder wires (9) to switch and bracket assem-
bly (7).
(1) Solder identified wires (9) to switch and
bracket assembly (7). Use soldering iron and
solder
(item 189,
App F)
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
b. Perform continuity test (TM 55-1500-323-24).
Use multimeter.
c. Install switch and bracket assembly (7) on
grip (2).
(1) Position switch and bracket assembly (7) on
grip (2).
(2) Install three screws (8).
d. Install grip (1) on grip (2).
(1) Install grip (1) by sliding grip (1) up wire
bundles (5) and (6).
(2) Install two screws (4).
