b. Remove cylinder (1) from bracket (6).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (7).
(2) Remove nut (8).
(3) Remove bolt (9), washer (10), and bushing
(11).
(4) Remove cylinder (1).
11.36.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.36.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
c. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
d. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
11.36.6. Installation
a. Install cylinder (1) on bracket (6).
(1) Position cylinder (1) on bracket (6).
(2) Install bolt (9) through bushing (11), bracket
(6), cylinder (1), and washer (10).
(3) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (9) (para 11.1).
(4) Install nut (8).
(5) Install new cotter pin (7).
