b. Remove link (1) from levers (2).
(1) Remove and discard two cotter pins (3).
(2) Remove two washers (4) and pins (5).
(3) Remove link (1).
11.70.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.70.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for cracks
(para 11.5).
b. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
c. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
11.70.6. Installation
a. Install link (1) on two levers (2).
(1) Aline link (1) with levers (2).
(2) Install two pins (5) through levers (2) and link
(1).
(3) Install two washers (4).
(4) Install two new cotter pins (3).
b. Inspect (QA).
