CPG CYCLIC STICK REMOTE CONTROL LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
d. Remove lever (1) from cyclic stick (9).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (10).
(2) Remove nut (11) and washer (12).
(3) Remove bolt (13), washer (14), lever (1), and
bushing (15).
11.72.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.72.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for
cracks. None allowed.
b. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
c. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
11.72.6. Installation
a. Install lever (1) on stick (9). Torque nut (11) 30
to 65 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Aline lever (1) with stick (9) and fitting (2).
(2) Install bushing (15) on lever (1).
(3) Install bolt (13) through washer (14), lever (1),
bushing (15), and stick (9).
(4) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (13) (para
11.1).
(5) Install washer (12) and nut (11).
(6) Torque nut (11) to 30 INCH-POUNDS. Use
torque wrench.
(7) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 65 INCH-POUNDS.
(8) Install new cotter pin (10).
