11.85.6. Assembly
a. Install shaft (22) on arm (15).
(1) Install shaft (22) through arm (15), cam (33),
and lever (32).
NOTE
Ensure shaft arm, cam valley, and lever
tip are facing same direction.
(2) Aline cam (33) and lever (32) on shaft (22).
(3) Install two new rivets (31) in cam (33) and
lever (32) (TM 1-1500-204-23).
b. Install guide (27) on arm (15).
(1) Install pin (30) through guide (27), arm (15),
and washer (29).
(2) Install new cotter pin (28).
c. Install guide (21) on shaft (22).
(1) Install spring (26) and guide (21).
(2) Install pin (25) through shaft (22), guide (21),
and washer (24).
(3) Install new cotter pin (23).
d. Install new packing (20) in arm (14).
(1) Lubricate new packing (20). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (20) on arm (14).
e. Install detent (17) on arm (14).
(1) Aline detent (17) on arm (14).
NOTE
Detent will be secured, adjusted, and
lockwired when SPAD switch is installed.
(2) Install two screws (18) and washers (19).
