h. Install new packing (14) in housing (4).
(1) Lubricate new packing (14). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (14) in housing (4).
i. Install detent (11) on housing (4).
(1) Aline detent (11) on housing (4).
NOTE
Detent will be secured and adjusted
when SPAD switch is installed.
(2) Install two screws (12) and washers (13).
j. Install housing (4) on support (2).
(1) Apply primer on bearing mount surface of
support. Use primer (item 145, App F).
(2) Allow primer to air dry 30 MINUTES.
(3) Apply sealing compound on bearing (9)
mount surface of support (2). Use sealing
compound (item 170, App F).
(4) Press bearing (9) on housing (4) (para 11.5).
(5) Install bearing (10) on housing (4) until prop-
erly seated in support (2).
(6) Install housing (4) on support (2). Ensure
bearing (9) is properly seated in support (2).
