CPG DIRECTIONAL SHEAR PIN ACTIVATED DECOUPLER (SPAD) ASSEMBLY
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (AVIM) – continued
d. Install shaft (9) on arm (2).
(1) Install shaft (9), cam (15), and lever (14).
NOTE
Ensure that shaft arm, cam valley, and
lever tip are facing the same direction as
when removed.
(2) Aline cam (15) and lever (14) with holes in
arm (2).
(3) Install two new rivets (13) in cam (15) and
lever (14) (TM 1-1500-204-23).
e. Install guide (8) on shaft (9).
(1) Install pin (11) through shaft (9), guide (8) and
two washers (12).
(2) Install new cotter pin (10).
f. Install guide (1) and spring (7) on arm (2).
(1) Aline spring (7) between guides (8) and (1).
(2) Install pin (4) through guide (1), bushing (6),
arm (2), and washer (5).
(3) Install new cotter pin (3).
g. Inspect (QA).
h. Install CPG directional SPAD switch (para
11.64).
