CPG DIRECTIONAL F.S. 60.56 SHEAR PIN ACTIVATED DECOUPLER (SPAD) BRACKET
ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
11.149.7. Installation
NOTE
If the SPAD bracket was replaced, per-
form step a.
a. Install two bolts (6), nuts (7), and washers (8)
on bracket (1).
(1) Install two bolts (6), nuts (7), and washers (8)
on bracket (1)
(2) Adjust two bolts (6) to obtain 0.60 INCH from
top of bolt (6) to bracket (1) body.
(3) Tighten nuts (7).
(4) Verify bolt (6) lengths are 0.60 INCH from top
of bolts (6) to bracket (1) body.
(5) Lockwire bolt (6) and nut (7) together (two
places). Use wire (item 224, App F).
b. Install bracket (1) on airframe (2).
(1) Aline bracket (1) with airframe (2).
(2) Install two bolts (5) and washers (4).
(3) Install two bolts (3) and washers (4).
c. Inspect (QA).
d. Install CPG directional SPAD (para 11.145).
