FORWARD FUEL CELL FILLER NECK INSTALLATION – continued
(3) Install vacuum cleaner (11) on pneumatic
pressure filler (7). Use vacuum cleaner.
(4) Start vacuum cleaner (11).
(5) Turn regulator knob (12) on filler (7) clockwise
until 2 psi is indicated on pressure regulator
gage (13).
CAUTION
Ensure that relief valve is venting proper-
ly.
NOTE
Pressure fill relief valve will begin venting
pressure at approximately 0.5 psi.
(6) Guide filler neck (1) into forward gravity filler
port (14) while fuel cell is inflating. One per-
son to assist.
(7) Continue to apply pressure until fuel cell is
fully inflated.
(8) With air pressure still flowing, turn shutoff
valve knob (9) fully clockwise to close valve
(10).
(9) Shutoff vacuum cleaner (11).
(10) Remove vacuum cleaner (11) from pneumat-
ic pressure filler (7).
