FORWARD FUEL CELL FILLER NECK INSTALLATION – continued
o. Install fuel cell (2) on vent tube adapter
mounting pad (52) from transmission deck
(15). Torque two bolts (53) to 60 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Install two bolts (53) and rectangular washers
(54).
(2) Torque two bolts (53) to 60 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
(3) Perform electrical bond check on bolts (53)
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
(a) Bond shall be 1.0 OHM or less. Use
multimeter.
(4) Seal head of bolts (53). Use sealing
compound (item 175, App F).
p. Install fuel cell (2) on pilot valve mounting pad
(55) from transmission deck (15). Torque two
bolts (56) to 60 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Install two bolts (56), flat washers (57) and
rectangular washers (58). Position flat wash-
ers (58) between helicopter structure (59)
and fuel cell (2).
(2) Torque two bolts (56) to 60 INCH-POUNDS.
Use torque wrench.
(3) Perform electrical bond check on bolts (56)
(TM 55-1500-323-24).
(a) Bond shall be 1.0 OHM or less. Use
multimeter.
(4) Seal head of bolts (56). Use sealing
compound (item 175, App F).
q. Install valve (60) on mounting pad (55).
(1) Lubricate new packing (61). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (61) in groove (62).
(3) Install two bolts (63) and washers (64).
