FORWARD FUEL CELL FILLER NECK INSTALLATION – continued
h. From transmission deck (15), remove cover
plate (31) from mounting pad (32).
(1) Remove two bolts (33) and washers (34).
i. From inside fuel cell (2), remove cover plate
(35) from refueling breakaway valve mounting
pad (36).
(1) Remove six bolts (37) and washers (38).
j. From inside fuel cell (2), remove cover plate
(39) from vent tube adapter mounting pad
(40).
(1) Remove six bolts (41) and washers (42).
k. From inside fuel cell (2), remove cover plate
(43) from filler neck mounting pad (44).
(1) Remove six bolts (45) and washers (46).
l. Install access cover (47) on transmission
deck (15).
(1) Install grommet and wire bundle (48) in slot
on cover (47).
(2) Position cover (47) on deck (15).
(3) Lubricate nine new packings with retainers
(50). Use petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(4) Install nine new packings with retainers (50)
and screws (51) through cover (47).
m. Apply sealing compound as fillet to seal cover
(47). Use sealing compound (item 175, App F).
n. Install forward fuel cell engine fuel supply
breakaway valve (para 10.16).
