u. Remove cover plate (74) and handle (75) from
forward access cover mounting pad (76) from
pilot station.
(1) Unfasten 12 captive screws (77) on handle
(75).
(2) Remove 12 bolts (78) and washers (79) from
plate (74).
NOTE
The access cover installed in steps v.
thru z. is used when the helicopter is in
service.
v. Position cover (80) on mounting pad (76).
(1) Lubricate new packing (81). Use petrolatum
(item 138, App F).
(2) Install packing (81) in groove (82) on mount-
ing pad (76).
NOTE
Reference the FWD and AFT markings
on cover.
(3) Position cover (80) on mounting pad (76) and
under three brackets (83), (84) and (85).
