AFT FUEL CELL ACCESS PANEL AND ACCESS COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
g. Remove aft fuel cell N2 inert breakaway valve
(para 10.119).
h. Remove aft fuel cell N2 inert outlet orifice
(para 10.120).
i. Remove aft fuel cell access cover (16) from aft
fuel cell (17).
(1) Remove sealant from four bolts (18) and re-
move four bolts (18) and washers (19), and
three beveled washers (20) and beveled
washers (21) from mounting brackets (22)
and (23).
(2) Remove 20 bolts (24) and washers (19).
(3) Lift cover (16) from fuel cell (17).
(4) Remove lockwire from retaining nut (25) and
retaining nut (26).
(5) Hold receptacle J2 (7). Remove retaining nut
(25). Use open end wrenches.
(6) Hold receptacle J1 (8). Remove retaining nut
(26). Use open end wrench.
(7) Remove receptacles J2 (7) and J1 (8) and
cover (16).
(8) Remove and discard two packings (27) and
(28).
(9) Remove and discard cover packing (29).
10.32.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
b. Clean sealing compound residue from access
panel and mounting area of transmission
deck (para 1.47).
c. Clean packing residue from access cover and
mounting area on fuel cell (para 1.47).
