b. Install link (1) to swashplate (8). Torque nut (11)
75 to 91 FOOT-POUNDS.
NOTE
Beveled side of limiter is to face bearing
on link.
(1) Aline link (1) and limiter (12) with swashplate (8).
(2) Install bushing (14) in swashplate (8).
CAUTION
Threads of bolt and nut shall be clean
and compound free. Contaminated
threads can cause improper torque,
which may cause damage to flight control
system.
NOTE
A maximum of four washers are allowed
under bolt head (if required) to ensure
bushing clamp-up and pin hole alines.
(3) Apply a light coat of corrosion preventive
compound to shank of bolt (10). Use
corrosion preventive compound (item 62A,
App F).
(4) Install bolt (10) through washer(s) (13), bush-
ing (14), swashplate (8), limiter (12), and link
(1).
(5) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (10) (para
11.1).
(6) Hold bolt (10). Install nut (11). Use socket and
open end wrench.
(7) Hold bolt (10). Torque nut (11) to 75 FOOT-
POUNDS. Use torque wrench, socket, and
open end wrench.
(8) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 91 FOOT-POUNDS.
(9) Install new cotter pin (9).
(10) Apply sealing compound around bolt (10)
head, washer (13), and nut (11). Use sealing
compound (item 176, App F).
