CPG COLLECTIVE STICK SHEAR PIN REPLACEMENT – continued
11.43.6. Installation
a. Install new shear pin (6) in arm (2) and lever
(5).
(1) Apply petrolatum to tapered end of shear pin
(6). Use petrolatum (item 138, App F).
(2) Aline arm (2) with lever (5).
(3) Ensure that switch detent (7) and switch posi-
tion lever (8) are engaged.
(4) Install shear pin (6) through arm (2) and lever
(5).
NOTE
Install retainer finger tight.
b. Install retainer (1) on arm (2).
c. Lockwire retainer (1) to bolt (9). Use wire
(item 220, App F).
d. Inspect (QA).
e. Install collective stick cover (para 11.44).
f. Perform flight control system maintenance
operational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
g. Perform DASE maintenance operational
check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
