PILOT CYCLIC STICK HOUSING INSTALLATION – continued
e. Install lateral transducer shaft (22) on rod end
(23). Use measurement A recorded during re-
moval.
(1) Install nut (24) and keywasher (25) on rod
end (23).
(2) Engage threads and rotate shaft (22) clock-
wise until required measurement A has been
obtained.
(3) Tighten nut (24).
(4) Lockwire nut (24) to keywasher (25). Use
wire (item 226, App F).
f. Install lateral feel spring cartridge (27) on arm
(28). Torque nut (29) 30 to 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(1) Aline cartridge (27) with arm (28).
(2) Install bushing (30) in arm (28).
(3) Install bolt (31) through bushing (30), car-
tridge (27), and arm (28).
(4) Check fit of self-retaining bolt (31) (para
11.1).
(5) Install nut (29). Torque nut (29) to 30 INCH-
POUNDS. Use torque wrench.
(6) Increase torque to aline cotter pin hole, but do
not exceed 40 INCH-POUNDS.
(7) Install new cotter pin (32).
