CPG CYCLIC STICK HOUSING LATERAL SHEAR PIN REPLACEMENT – continued
b. Remove link (1) from arm (2).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (3).
(2) Remove nut (4).
(3) Remove bolt (5) and bushing (6).
(4) Remove link (1).
c. Remove lateral push-pull rod (7) from arm (2).
(1) Remove and discard cotter pin (8).
(2) Remove nut (9).
(3) Remove bolt (10), washer (11), and bushing
(12).
(4) Remove rod (7).
NOTE
If a shear pin(s) cannot be removed by
conventional means, after repeated at-
tempts from any of the SPAD assemblies
(CPG or pilot), deliberately shearing the
pin is permitted. Ensure the ends of the
pins are removed.
d. Remove shear pin retainer (13) from arm (2).
(1) Remove lockwire.
(2) Remove retainer (13).
NOTE
Remove shear pin in pieces if sheared.
e. Remove shear pin half (14) from arm (2).
f. Remove shear pin half (15) from lever (16).
(1) Aline arm (2) with lever (16).
(2) Remove shear pin half (15) through arm (2).
