PILOT STATION DIRECTIONAL BELLCRANK BRACKET ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
b. Install bracket (1) on airframe (2).
(1) Aline bracket (1) with airframe (2).
(2) Install two bolts (7), washers (4), and nuts (3).
(3) Measure gap between bracket (1) and air-
frame (2).
(4) Measure shim (6).
(5) Remove or add to shim (6) as required to fill
space between bracket (1) and airframe (2) to
within 0.006 INCH.
(6) Loosen two bolts (7) and nuts (3).
(7) Install shim (6), three bolts (5), washers (4),
and nuts (3).
(8) Tighten two bolts (7) and nuts (3).
c. Inspect (QA).
d. Install pedal adjust handle support (para
11.175).
e. Install pilot directional SPAD (para 11.153).
