HELICOPTER WEIGHING (AIRCRAFT ON JACKS) – continued
n. Remove strut locks (10) from struts (11).
(1) Loosen adjustment screw (12) on both strut
locks (10).
(2) Remove strut locks (10).
o. Remove line (5) with plumb bob (6) from
bracket (1).
(1) Unwind line (5) from rivets (8) and (9).
(2) Remove line (5) and plumb bob (6).
CAUTION
Plumb bob bracket and target installation
screws are not removable. Damage to
bracket and target will result if removal is
attempted.
p. Remove plumb bob bracket (1) and target (2)
from helicopter.
(1) Loosen screws (3) and (4).
(2) Slide target (2) off of screws (4).
(3) Slide bracket (1) off of screws (3).
(4) Tighten screws (3) and (4).
q. Service main landing gear struts (para 1.40).
r. Secure access doors L135 and R135 (para
2.2).
