Turn off power before detaching or
attaching wires and connectors. High
current 28 VDC or 115 VAC is present.
Failure to do so could result in death or
serious injury.
1. On pilot cyclic stick, set FORCE TRIM REL
switch to OFF. Check for 28 VDC at P686117.
Is voltage present?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Go to step 3.
2. Check for short between (A401):
P113A9 and P113A5,
P113A10 and P113A5,
P113A11 and P113A5.
Does short exist?
YES
Replace pilot cyclic stick
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
NO
Repair shorted wire between:
J113A5 and J403A13,
P403A13 and J447B7,
P447B7 and P686117,
J113A11 and P423B15,
J113A10 and P423B16,
J113A9 and P423B7.
Go to paragraph 1123.
3. Check for 28 VDC at P686116.
Is voltage present?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Go to step 8.
4. With positive meter lead at (A402):
TB37/8F, check for short between TB37/8F
and TB37/8A.
Does short exist?
YES
Replace terminal board
(electronic module)
(A402)TB37/8
(TM 1-1520-238-23).
NO
Go to step 5.
5. Check for short between (A402):
J11B15 and J11B14.
Does short exist?
YES
Repair shorted wire between
(A402):
J11B15 and TB229E,
J11B14 and TB229F.
Go to paragraph 1123.
NO
Go to step 6.
