11.18.3. Removal
CAUTION
To prevent damage to main rotor and
scissors assemblies, the secondary scis-
sors must be identified and marked prior
to removal to insure proper installation.
a. Remove one side of secondary main rotor
scissor (1) from main rotor hub lower shoe (2).
(1) Remove sealant from attaching hardware
(para 1.47).
(2) Remove and discard cotter pin (3).
(3) Remove nut (4) and washer (5).
(4) Remove bolt (6), washer (7), bearing (8), and
bushing (9).
