b. Remove other side of scissor (1) from hub
lower shoe (2).
(1) Remove sealant from attaching hardware
(para 1.47).
(2) Remove and discard cotter pin (10).
(3) Remove nut (11) and washer (12).
(4) Remove bolt (13), washer (14), bearing (15),
and bushing (16).
c. Remove scissor (1) from swashplate (17).
(1) Remove sealant from attaching hardware
(para 1.47).
(2) Remove and discard cotter pin (18).
(3) Remove nut (19), washer (20), and retaining
washer (21).
(4) Remove scissor (1) and washer (22) from pin
(23).
11.18.4. Cleaning
a. Wipe removed and attaching parts with a
clean rag.
11.18.5. Inspection
a. Check removed and attaching parts for for
scratches, and elongation.
(1) Damage in a bore area within 1-1/2 times the
bore diameter is not to exceed 10 percent of
the material thickness or 0.040 INCH, which-
ever is less.
b. Check removed and attaching parts for wear
(para 11.5).
c. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
d. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
e. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
f. Check removed and attaching parts for cracks
(para 11.5).
