i. Remove bolt (26) and nut (27) from housing
(4).
(1) Measure and record dimension C from hous-
ing (4) to top of bolt (26).
(2) Remove lockwire.
(3) Remove nut (27).
(4) Remove bolt (26).
11.61.4. Cleaning
a. Clean removed and attaching parts (para
1.47).
11.61.5. Inspection
a. Check support, housing, arm, and clevis for
gouges.
(1) Maximum gouge depth is 0.025 INCH and is
acceptable if no material is raised above sur-
rounding surface.
b. Check removed and attaching parts for cracks
(para 11.5).
c. Check removed and attaching parts for dam-
age (para 11.5).
d. Check removed and attaching parts for corro-
sion (para 1.49).
e. Check all installed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.5).
f. Check all removed bushing(s) and/or bear-
ing(s) for wear (para 11.4).
11.61.6. Repair
a. Replace threaded inserts as necessary
(TM 1-1500-204-23).
